Here’s to you a butterfly woman coming out of her cocoon. This is the idea that inspired the designer from Naples Francesco Scognamiglio for his show at the Milan Fashion Week.

The main concept isn’t only reflected in the clothes, but also in the models, whose immature beauty seems to be right about to blossom.

The designer plays with colors just like a painter on his canvas: unexpected spots of color, crystals and shiny studs, elements of voile with huge polka-dots.

A lot of red, pink, black and greenery, the Pantone color for 2017. Scognamiglio’s clothes are decorative pieces that it’s possible to wear in a simple way.

The collection offers dresses in organza  adorned with tiny cuts and proves the designer’s wise use of digital print, thanks to the patterns that resemble the hypnotic wings of butterflies. Even the kidassia fur is butterfly-shaped and is worn with a cash-mere shirt and an openwork skirt.

Moreover dress coats and trenches (that seemed to be very popular during this first day of shows) were very impressing, thanks to the bright colors of the collars. Black and colored furs were beautiful too. The designer uses boots a lot, both classic pairs or cuissardes, both in smooth leather and in python leather, and also in very bright and even surprising colors, like bluette and copper.

The show ended with long gowns, with nude and transparent fabrics, silver elements, peach-colored organza and voluminous embroidery. Bravo!
