By now it’s clear: next winter is all about pumps. Daytime ones, nightly ones, any model you could dream of. If it were for me, I would collect them all! Thus, in order to express my passion, today I’m going to dedicate an article to this topic, mostly because, let me tell you, pump shoes are not all the same and there are some pairs that appeared on catwalks and that really deserve to be talked of. Let’s start with this iconic model by Saint Laurent with logo-shaped heels: these shoes were sold out in any boutique right after coming out.

My favourite version is the black latex one, but I love this pair of black-leathered ankle boots just as much. Life can be really glamorous, mostly when you’re standing on a Yves Saint Laurent logo-shaped pedestal. Moreover the most daring among you should know that red is going to be a very trendy colour next winter, therefore if you don’t own one already you should totally get a cool pair of knife pumps: like this fire red satin pumps by Balenciaga.

As we had the chance to notice at several events, like at the Genny’s fashion show, stirrup pants keep being considered a fascinating match. Actually, they’re one of the moment’s trends. You could go for simple models, like this pair of jersey-made trousers by Marni, which should mostly be worn for daytime and informal outfits, being careful to avoid to ruin your silhouette (that’s the risk when you deal with such clothing pieces). Something else I love at the moment: this pair of black suede calfskin high-heeled shoes adorned with a heart by Dior. We’re talking about one of all times’ most requested pieces. As a matter of fact, Christian Dior himself used to say that pumps look good on anything.

Shall we talk about the model launched by Blumarine? Some of you must have guessed what I’m referring to: this pair of leather made décolletés with sequinned buckles and wooden-like heels. The range of colours is very wide: red, black, yellow… but according to me the best ones are the watermelon pink ones with red inner elements.

Among collectables of course I couldn’t skip the wonderful golden pumps by Gucci, embellished by the brand’s iconic snake. Be careful, though: not everyone owns the class, the irony and the strength to wear such shoes. But if you are brave enough, well they are just great.

Good news to finish: sometimes beautiful shoes are also not expensive. If you haven’t checked out H&M’s collection, don’t waste your time! There’s something for any taste: a pointed pair in light pink, a silver pair with 10-centimetres heels, sparkling, with a bow and squared point. They’re so cool and cheap that you can’t help yourself. Now, try not to lose your mind.
