The website Byrdie.com, that you all should know (it will reveal all the beauty and fashion secrets of Hollywood superstars) has divided celebrities’ butts in 4 big categories: squared…

and V-shaped.

I think this is a great idea: if each of us belongs to one of this category, then it means that for everyone there is a perfect work-out program to keep our butt in shape. So I started researching among fitness websites, found some data and… voilà: here’s an exercise for each category. Let’s start with heart-shaped butt types: if you’re part of this category, you must have a tiny waist and rounded gluteus, a bit more pronounced around the lower portion (where legs begin).

Here’s the perfect exercise for you: take an elastic band and place it around your calves. Now, step to your side, starting with your right leg. Then do the same with the left one. This all needs to be repeated 12 times. Round-shaped butt: you’re lucky! Your aim is to maintain it as it is.

Start with your right leg and make a long step ahead, keeping your left leg tense. Then go back to your erect position and step behind with your right leg, so that the left one is bent at 90 degrees. Don’t stop between the two steps! Change sides and repeat 12 times. Squared butt: there’s a distribution of fat on the higher part of the butt, while the shape is a bit sagging on the lower part.

In this case, you need to do exercises that will empower the part of your butt that’s closest to your waist and that will add volume: hold a kettlebell (the typical cross-fit ball with a handle) in front of your chest with your arms folded, then step ahead and bend till your thigh is parallel to the floor. Now turn your body around and and turn the kettlebell towards your bended leg. Repeat 12 times per side. Last category, V-shaped butt.

You probably have a tiny waist, which is great, but your butt needs some re-do! Spread your feet as mush as your hips, with your toes outward. Hold a kettlebell in your hands with your elbows open and parallel to the floor (and your shoulders far from your ears). Bend at 90 degrees keeping your stomach in. Repeat 12 times. Let’s start today!
